Braille information

I want to collect information about locale specific braille systems. This could include braillists manuals, layout rules, experience whatever you think might be useful in generating braille. Drop an email to the list and I'll add the information.

UK braille.

Let's get this one out of the way. If ever there was a braille code that deserved the title of English, it must be the International Council on English Braille Unified English Braille Code Research Project. OK, it's a project. OK it's not finished, OK, it changed its title from UBC to UEBC. It's the best we have.

In terms of an incomplete draft, go look here. OK, it's 2004, we know it's incomplete. This is where I want to go next.

Moon

This presents a problem. I think it is locale specific (en-GB), but it isn't braille. Include or not? Not a particularly difficult transform, just that language, locale, don't fit. Perhaps en-GB-moon could be used?

en-US

United States. Bana is the appropriate one I believe. This is my best guess at the definitive formatting and contraction standards in use.
